We engaged with Antech to access their unique directional drilling package for an underbalanced coiled tubing drilling programme. Adam provided excellent technical support throughout the programme from concept through execution and close-out, relocating to Perth to support the operations. His knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment were an essential element of the success of the programme. Antech seek to continuously improve both the reliability and capability of their tools and work with their clients to ensure appropriate and successful application of their technologies. It was a pleasure working with Adam and the wider Antech team and we would recommend them to anyone considering underbalanced drilling with coiled tubing.

I have been involved with two platform wells drilled in the Central North Sea using a Heavy Duty Jack Up. I was the Lead Drilling Engineer on the second well; I carried out all the engineering design work for the well and wrote the Basis of Design and Drilling Programme. I carried the well through its successful execution phase. I was responsible for all well planning and execution work onshore including government permits, purchasing and logistics. This multi-million pound project came in 10% under budget and 12% ahead of schedule. No safety incidents occurred during operations on the well. For my first year with BP I worked as a Wellsite Drilling Engineer on the Byford Dolphin, a semi-submersible rig in the North Sea. This role consisted of providing offshore assistance in managing the drilling, completion and abandonment operations of oil and gas wells.
