Very few people have had the pleasure and opportunity to report to a supervisor who is also a coach and a mentor, but I did when I worked with Adam. I had the pleasure of working with Adam for a little over a year at the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Web Team, where we collaborated on several projects. While this was my first professional engagement, Adam was a great resource to turn to and he was always more than happy to help with any problem that needed to be solved. Not only does he have great technical skills for his role as a Senior Software Engineer, but he has great soft skills as well. He is a great team worker, and has excellent communication skills. His ability to communicate with clients in order to best solve their problems is a skill that any great employee should strive to have. As a team member or a leader, Adam has my recommendation. Any team would be lucky to have a great asset such as Adam.

In short: You want this guy on your team! I had the pleasure or working with Adam for a bit over 2 years, beginning as his supervisor, then working together as peers. When we began he was still somewhat new to development, and I saw his skill set grow exponentially. In a very short time Adam's contribution to the team and the organization outpaced developers I've worked with who have twice the experience. Adam has a thirst for knowledge and proactively pursues technologies from all parts of the stack. He is determined to provide solutions that exceed customer expectations, clearly communicates with stakeholders, and constantly drives toward improved quality. As a team member he is always willing to share and help others, as well as remain open to, and often seeking, suggestions and feedback. It was a pleasure working with Adam. His impact will be lasting for our organization, and for your's as well should you have the good fortune to work with him.
