Jun 2013 - Aug 2017
Human-centred design social enterprise focused on women motorcycle riders. Included fundamental research into anthropometrics (n=1000) to redesign motorcycles, motorcycle seats, apparel, and wearable technologies. I lead a team that believed: That bikes should fit the people that are riding them, and not the other way around; that women are more than just shorter (generally) men with bumps and curves in different places; that many people would agree that we have just stated the obvious; but, this doesn't show up in the way bikes are built, how riders are trained, how equipment fits or how riders ride.
