  As KliK expects the obligation in the revised Swiss CO2 law to compensate emissions also with mitigation activities abroad, the foundation starts preparing for the forthcoming compliance regime starting in 2021. Mischa is tasked to originate the required Internationally Transferred Mitigation Outcomes from suited projects. To this end he starts building up a portfolio of activities that could generate offsets in compliance with international rules.   Mischa is responsible for the development of the methodological framework of the Swiss domestic offset scheme as it is driven by the foundation. This entails the design of methodologies in the Swiss context but also the scoping and design of programs and respective reporting structures. KliK was established in the context of the revised Swiss CO₂ Law to group the legal obligation of the fuel importers to compensate a part of the transport born emissions.
