I have met Andrea during my Masterthesis internship at EVN AG from June until December 2018. Beeing the head of the innovation management department she was also my boss during the 6 months I have spent at the company. I was very impressed on how she always tried to support and develop her employees by pushing them into new situations and supporting them afterwards with great empathy if help was needed. Everybody at the department could feel that it was mostly about the people she was leading and not about the numbers they produced. This led to a very motivated environment within the department, everybody helping each other out and producing great results in the end. During difficult times at the process of writing my master thesis or organizing the content part of an event for 2500 employees of the company, she did a very good job making the situation loose again, by putting on a smile, not taking things more seriously than they are and getting back to work.
