Rio Ammunition is a subsidiary of MAXAM, with more than 40 employees, a commercial office, and factory. It is the 4th largest manufacturer by volume in the USA of hunting and shooting cartridges with a revenue that exceeds $20M. During this stage, and operating in a highly competitive market, I planned and lead the restructuring of the company, in personnel, business and production, returning it to levels of profitability and positive margins, while designing and implementing a new strategy. Prior to my arrival, Rio Ammo had 4 years of negative margins. Under my responsibility, and after performing a restructuring, Rio has improved its margins by 60%, increasing our customer base, improving its profitability, and optimizing our product portfolio. In addition, as General Manager, I also highlight the following responsibilities:  Developing and executing the company’s strategic plans, budgets, personnel, financial outcomes, and providing top-level reporting.  Supervision of the day-to-day operations and the rest of the managers (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Production, and Health & Safety)  Creating, coordinating, developing, and implementing the business strategic planning in accordance to the global positioning of the company  Development and approval of the annual budget, forecast and constant measurement of results, reporting to the global CEO  Administration of company policies to employees and personnel  Review of new product introduction and SKU analysis & reduction
