I worked with Ehima when we both served on the McMaster Students' Union Board of Directors. Ehima was consistently a hard-working, dedicated, and passionate leader in the McMaster community, and was a source of inspiration and support for me during my time working with him. We worked together on a variety of issues, and these included advocacy for increased accessibility to university, enhanced career development services, and greater financial and student supports for international students. I am glad to see that Ehima has continued to serve students in many roles since our time together at the MSU, and I believe he is a uniquely strong leader who has the best interests of those he represents at heart.

I had the pleasure of working with Ehima for two years at the Brock University Students Union. Ehima was a great coworker and was always one of my go-to's in the office. He takes pride in his work, which was shown through his handling of projects and work relationships. He was constantly working to grow his portfolio for the betterment of the students' union, and therefore the students as well as his staff. Though Ehima and I were not directly part of the same team (I with student services, while he was part of the external affairs team), he was always sure to check in on me and help me whenever I needed it. I can remember many times where I was executing an event with my student services team and Ehima was often the first one to offer help. Ehima brings a level of care to everything he does that is unmatched. He truly takes pride in all that he does, and cares about the people that he works with. As an employee, Ehima was consistently on time, creative with his ideas, open to learning and willing to stand for what he believes in. He would certainly be a great addition to any team.
