I began working with Adam just after the American Museum of Natural History was approved its first Ph.D. program in biology. Adam was the person I worked with during the process of Museum admitting the first class and actual implementation of the program. He led and coordinated the Museum's efforts in preparing for and obtaining institutional accreditation to allow the Museum to be eligible for Federal Title IV funds. His work was detail oriented and he understood the requirements and how to convey how the unique Museum program would meet the requirements. Adam was able to communicate what was needed for both the Museum and the Board of Regents/New York State Education Department. He had a sense of what was important and responded promptly and thoroughly to all inquiries. I enjoyed working with him and would recommend him for an administrative position.
