- Assist clients in the planning, organizing and coordination of events and function as an advisor to prevent and solve current and potential problems and conflicts. - Serve as the point-of-contact for approximately 50 events annually including fundraising galas, graduations, trade shows, national conferences and conventions. - Prepare detailed event outlines using Ungerboeck and create customized floor plans with AutoCAD LT. - Act as liaison between clients and convention center staff including food service, facility staff, AV staff, guest services and security while anticipating and responding to last-minute changes and challenges. - Perform daily checks of event set-ups prior to client arrival to ensure customer satisfaction and check event set-ups at regular intervals to ensure proper maintenance. - Conduct pre-con and post-con meetings as necessary to ensure proper department communication, customer satisfaction and constructive feedback. - Responsible for invoicing and ensuring that any additional charges incurred are billed to the client.
