Perspectum is a recent successful Oxford University spin-out, commercialising a novel diagnostic for liver disease based on software post-processing of medical MRI’s. It has been through several successful rounds of fundraising and boasts a rapidly-growing portfolio of customers in clinical, emerging biotech and big Pharma sectors.Senior executive with overall responsibility for UK P&L. Line management of imaging services, software engineering, science, PMO, IT and product management teams. Attendence and reporting at Board meetings. Recruitment of the highest-quality talent at all levels of the company. Developing budgets and operational plans for company's growth and international expansion strategies, with appropriate progress monitoring measures. Achievements include:- oversaw a 6X growth in company value- managed an increase in headcount from 15 to 80+ full-time equivalents, including the formation of high-performing software, physics, and imaging/machine learning teams- development and regulatory clearance (US/EU) of Cloud-based software medical device from scratch- development and operation of ISO-compliant Quantitative Analysis Service from scratch, catering to both Pharma and clinical customers- change management and introduction of ISO-compliant policies and processes (13485, 27001, FDA 21CFR11, HIPAA)- led company's move into dedicated 8,200 sq. ft. premises, including fit-out and secure IT provision

Between 2010 and 2014 it was a leading supplier of pre-clinical and human research MRI systems, with its main manufacturing plant in Yarnton. Overall responsibility for the MRI gradient coil product. Line management of technical and design teams. Preparation of product roadmap and department budgets. New product introduction including development of factory tooling and supply chain. Customer support for all imaging systems. Reporting to general manager of MR business unit.
