Within Philips DirectLife, Hanneke is known for her positive attitude and openness. Besides that, she is taken very seriously and both colleagues and managers tend to follow Hanneke's recommendations. She knows what she is talking about and comes up with solid arguments to underpin her point of view. I worked with Hanneke on several projects. On a number of those projects she represented the primary stakeholder and was responsible for specifying and prioritizing requirements. For me as a software engineer, working with Hanneke was a pleasant experience, because she is thorough, timely and is capable of outlining the business need behind a functional requirement. At the same time she understands the possibilities and limitations of IT, which makes her a pleasant sparring partner when requirements are challenging and compromises need to be made. She does not only speak the language of the business, but has no problem keeping up with the tech speech.
