Audrey and I were in the same lab section for MIT 2.007. Audrey improved her robot design more quickly than anyone else in the class, and with the best attitude and camaraderie! She overcame many roadblocks in building the beaver lift mechanism (she chose an ambitious and creative design), and I was super impressed at the end during the competition when her robot performed excellently to not only lift the beaver, but also to pull the lamp, push buttons, and push balls. These are very non-trivial tasks, and Audrey’s robot performed excellently, moving onto the second round of the competition and in the top 18% of class performance. She was the student in our lab section with the most camaraderie, constantly complimenting others on their robots and lifting everyone’s spirits. I would highly recommend her for any difficult project as she is fantastic at pulling through a functional prototype and motivating those around her as well.
