Brian was one of my top "go-to" folks for a broad variety of tasks when we worked together, displaying both wide and deep technical knowledge, excellent listening and troubleshooting skills, and being easy to work with, a rare but delightful combination of traits. I could rely on Brian to take ownership of tasks, look below the surface and consider all angles, and even gently point out alternate possible resolution paths when a need was outside his zone of control. When he might not have known a specific esoteric point offhand he would do research on his own to become familiar with the concepts and provide a considered and timely response. Brian is an excellent addition to any team.
