Lauren excelled in this newly created role at ICE. She developed the role into a key position within the team and devised and delivered a number of pilot membership development programmes in the Middle East, South Asia and South East Asia. She demonstrated excellent communication skills and was comfortable operating at all levels and consistently received great feedback from prospective members who she coached through the qualification process. A great team player and a great asset.

I really enjoyed working with Lauren both in her role within the central marketing team and as part of our Asian operation. This was because Lauren has that wonderful gift of having both a warm, engaging and empathetic personality and also a genuine hunger, passion and business acumen. She has been successful with audiences outside the UK which is also a real credit to Lauren's adaptability and application.

I work closely with preschool. primary and secondary school children and adult learners as they work to develop their English language skills. This includes regular group classes and private lessons. I plan and deliver circa 24 hours of teaching per week whilst monitoring the development of each student via regular progress tests and interaction with parents via Class Dojo and face to face updates. My lessons include a mixture of receptive and productive skills delivered via project based learning with a strong focus on functional and academic language. I produce kinesthetic materials to support learning for school children and use CELTA methodology to support adult learners with a particular focus on transition from regular English to business English. A senior manager within the international team I was responsible for delivering membership growth and recruitment across international regions including membership development strategies, training delivery for international graduates, customer relationship management and proactive pipeline management of prospective members. During my time in post I delivered a range of membership development activity in the Middle East, South East Asia, South Asia and South Africa. This activity enabled me to form country-specific membership development strategies in order to achieve strategic business objectives and to also identify key business opportunities for ICE. The activity I undertook overseas in 2017 accounted for 70% of total increase of international student membership for the year. I managed a global team with direct reports based in Kuala Lumpur, India, UAE and Hong Kong. Show less

During this time I effected various improvements including the implementation of new measures for debt recovery, updated and simplified CII member/customer communications and changed the focus in my teams through careful people management and conflict resolution skills. • Relationship Executive - Education
      • May 2011 - Nov 2013

My time as Relationship Executive for Education included the implementation of a national, award-winning campaign called Discover Risk. The campaign promoted careers and opportunities within the risk and financial services sector for UK school, college and university leavers whilst encouraging sector employers to expand and develop their relationships with students and academic institutions. This role required the delivery of 100+ academic events per year and regular contributions to nationwide member events. During my time in post I also contributed to the CII 2012 President's Manifesto; The Next Generation of Talent by securing 1,000+ technical Apprenticeship starts in the UK. Show less
