What a pleasure and honor it was to have Alfredo as a member of my team. Alfredo joined the US SDR team at Poppulo right before the COVID-19 pandemic began, in a new position to the Expand team that ultimately required more than I was expecting to ask of him, and yet he came into work every day and found a way to make the most of the situation presented to him. Specifically, he came in at a time when the business development model for Poppulo's customer base wasn't fully fleshed out, and he played an instrumental role in defining processes, optimizing workflows, and leaving the organization better off than he found it. If it wasn't for Alfredo's tireless efforts working daily MQLs, processing transactional sales for the wider Expand sales team, and proactively reaching out to customers to find new up sell & cross sell opportunities, I wouldn't have an Expand team today. He was a pivotal partner, helping me transform the Expand business development program, and never once demonstrated an inability to do what needed to be done for our team to be successful. Alfredo is the kind of working professional every team hopes to have among their ranks. He takes on challenges without batting an eye, suggesting solutions whenever problems arise and I can't thank him enough for it. He made my life, and the lives of everyone in the Expand organization easier, whether they knew it or not. Not to mention, he miraculously balanced a full academic schedule after hours working towards his MBA. Simply put, Alfredo is a true role model in every sense of the word. I know he's going to make a name for himself at his new position and beyond. If you're lucky enough to see Alfredo's resume cross your desk, you can't do much better than him.

For lack of better words, Alfredo was my rock and still is even though he has moved on from Poppulo to chase his passion for the arts. First off, I must say I respect Alfredo most for always speaking his mind and for his willingness to extend a helping hand in any way possible. Alfredo and I were brought into Poppulo to build the Expand Team’s business development role. Essentially, this meant it was up to us to establish processes and strategies to drive the expansion of Poppulo’s SaaS platform usage across existing customer accounts. This was a challenge that Alfredo grabbed by the horns. Rather than complaining when things got overwhelming, he tackled the issues we faced and focused on establishing repeatable procedures that could be adopted by new team members as our department grew. He always saw the bigger picture of the work we were doing - it was never just about us making our jobs easier. Due to us having many responsibilities that pulled us in numerous directions, it was sometimes tough to stay on top of it all. Alfredo and I could always rely on one another to assure progress and success towards our greater mission. The foundation Alfredo was able to help set is going to catapult success for those that take our places and take this role to the next level. Alfredo was always open about his passion for the arts. He has big dreams that I know he is going to accomplish - and already is - yet that never stopped him from bringing his all into work each day. I’m not quite sure how he managed the volume of things on his plate with such ease, but he even managed to bring peace to me every time things seemed to get a bit mind-boggling. He was my calm in the storm at times and was always there to listen, give advice or create solutions to the problems we, or I, were facing - both professionally and on a personal level. Alfredo takes action and has such a diverse set of skills and expertise - he is someone you want on your team, if not, running it.
