I highly recommend Michele as an instructor in the library field, and as an expert in strategic planning for libraries. Her 2018 webinar "Strategic Planning When You Can't Afford A Consultant," done for the Texas State Library & Archives Commission, was extremely well received. The presentation was immediately useful for the librarians who attended. Michele presented a plethora of information in a relatively short time, and answered questions with knowledge and ease.

I would like to highly recommend Michele. She was the librarian at the Library Company of Burlington and I worked with her to form the Friends of The Library Company of Burlington as a 501 c 3. Rarely do you meet a person who has the education, dedication, enthusiasm and pleasant demeanor as Michele. She is a dynamic person who deftly balanced the conflicting tasks of running a library, a vital historic treasure and a one of a kind art collection. She did all of this within budget and with a grace under pressure that only Michele can muster. Michele redefined the vision of the Library Company of Burlington. Michele's leadership skills enabled the Friends of The Library Company of Burlington to raise significant funds to help preserve this wonderful treasure. The Library Company of Burlington is one of the oldest libraries in the United States. Michele helped build the Library Company of Burlington into the modern city library it remains today while preserving the best aspects of it rich and storied history.

NJCAR’s primary aims are to prevent and mitigate the loss of cultural and historic resources in the event of a disaster and to serve as a statewide resource. The functions and duties of NJCAR are to address pertinent issues regarding emergency preparedness and response. Working closely with New Jersey Office of Emergency Management (NJOEM), NJCAR has incorporated the State's cultural resources into the statewide Emergency Response Framework for disaster planning, risk assessment, hazard mitigation, and recovery. As a result, county and local government emergency managers can connect through NJOEM and NJCAR with managers of cultural assets in their local communities.
