Co-developed and implemented the $250 million Transformative Climate Communities Program (TCC), administered in partnership with the California Strategic Growth Council. TCC funds neighborhood-scale grants for multiple development and infrastructure projects in California’s most disadvantaged communities. Managed 18 Sustainable Communities Planning Grants with local governments ranging from $300,000 to $1M. Partnered with the California Strategic Growth Council and consultant to analyze outcomes of 125 grants for a best practices synopsis of 14 jurisdictions.In addition to grant management, provided GIS Support for two DOC programs: the California Resource Conservation District Assistance Program and the Agricultural Land Mitigation Program.Compiled the first digital map of all 98 RCDs by collecting and digitizing historic files and PDFs, allowing state and local agencies to overlay jurisdictions to allocate funding and coordinate conservation projects. Collaborated with the CA High-Speed Rail Authority to standardize data from engineering contractors to develop a detailed route map used to coordinate agricultural mitigation in the Central Valley.
