Project 1: Tool calibration • Redefined calibration for torque tools on the plant floor and integrated a new mode for calibration of torque tools. • Boosted and enhanced the quality of communication between maintenance team and the vehicle line managers and workers. • Managed Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for project related products and processes for appropriate documentation. Project 2: Quick-release pin project • Remodeled a quick release pin for a unique placement of misaligned holes for parts of a dolly holding up a truck cabin. • Maximized the design efficiency for every iteration of the misaligned parts assembled for the truck cabin. • Enforced product development of quick-release pin to surpass the previous models to hold the assembly together. Project 3: Tooling and Equipment Requests (TERs) • Resolved safety issue with final fairing cabin hooks and secured 15x more money on product retail price. • Overlooked prototypes for TERs to implement effective solution through 3D printing saving material cost of more than $10,000. • Integrated the documentation of various parts such as cabin dollies from different lines onto the shared network. • Noise reduction of over 50 decibels for a sub assembly socket vice by remodeling and padding the socket mold. • Created kaizen (continuous development) document to reflect project objectives and timeline increasing readability. Project 4: Custom rotational device • Boosted customer satisfaction by minimizing manual heavy load from 60 kg to 15kg managed by assembly worker. • Engineered a design of a device that handles a torsional stress of up to 200 Pa.
