I have known and worked with Martin for 20 years and would not hesitate in recommending him to clients. He is personable, clent focussed and very knowledgeable through his experiences as a Credit Manager. Headed up the cashier, accounts receivable, credit control, litigation and accounts payable departments with responsiblity for 70 staff through various managers & supervisors. The business was created from the amalgamation of three different companies with some 120000 credit accounts. I was responsible for this amalgamation in my departments, for the recruitment of staff according to my own determination of the requirements for those departments, the introduction of systems and procedures & the ongoing management of the departments..Over the period of my employment, staff numbers were reduced from 130 across the three companies to 70 in the one operation. Debtor days were reduced from 115 days to 55 days. Legal spend was reduced from £500K to £30K & bad debt write off from £600K to less than £70K whilst sales steadily increased.
