Assumes the lead electrical distribution design role at the PEC Liberty Hill service district; one of the highest volume territories in the Cooperative, within one of the highest growth corridors in the nation. Serves as one of the primary district contacts for both internal Cooperative personnel and external entities. Provides daily guidance and final approval to the design team, from Associate to Senior level, for small to large-scale residential (single-family and multi-family) and industrial / commercial electrical distribution projects. Oversees contracted design personnel and engineering firms for large-scale capital improvement, road widening, substation, and system improvement projects; including setting the scope, logistical parameters, and budgets for those projects. Frequently serves as an informational resource and point of direction for the distribution planning group. Coordinates daily with local government contacts (City and County) on ongoing projects, processes, and changes to agreements and ordinances. Serves as the initial design contact for developers, engineering firms, and electricians looking to begin projects within the service area.* Acute awareness of development and economic growth within the service territory, and its impact on the electrical distribution system.* Long-term experience in managing, providing guidance to, establishing goals for, and training personnel in the fields of electrical design and project management.* In 2020, facing a global pandemic amidst unprecedented growth and demand within the district, spearheaded an effort to transform PEC Liberty Hill’s existing Planning and Design processes into a more flexible, adaptable, and efficient platform in an entirely digital space. This allowed our teams to function at a significantly higher level of performance and communication, in a time where in-office work was not possible. Show less

Conducted site planning and project management for the installation of the Liebel-Flarsheim Urological Imaging System for Mallinckrodt, a $2.1B billion global pharmaceutical company headquartered in St. Louis, MO. Performed on-site hospital operating room surveys, produced equipment layout plans and installation schematics using AutoCAD LT, and provided customer support throughout the installation process. Performed weekly travel to customer sites across the U.S. for pre-installation meetings to review project scope, establish project timeline, and coordinate installation logistics. Continued as contractor in position after Mallinckrodt service department was outsourced to SteelHorse Medical. * Facing high installation demand, worked in tandem with site planning colleague to improve and streamline the existing project database. This reduced administration time by nearly 50%, ensuring faster turnaround time for order entry and packages for installation teams. * In 2008, implemented multiple streamlining strategies to assist in the shipment of more than 80 units, contributing to more than $20M in revenue, a company record. These strategies included the reduction of drawing turnaround times, increased travel flexibility, and improved field service coordination. * In 2012, spearheaded project to produce a drawing template for the new Liebel-Flarsheim Direct Digital Imaging System. Working with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing, created a base template for the production installation schematics accurately detailing the new unit's electrical, mechanical, and structural requirements.
