  Kovsie ACT is an organization that is constantly involved in alleviating the plight of the underprivileged and those less fortunate than we, focusing mainly on our student community. Students learn to listen and communicate better, build interpersonal relationship skills and be aware of transnational problems like food insecurity and environmental sustainability challenges in a global and local context. As a student volunteer in this organization, I particularly train and educate students in producing their own food sustainably, assist each residence on campus to start their own food garden in the tunnels, harvest and prepare food for students in need Show less
