During the fall of 2015, I had the opportunity to intern as a Fire Protection Specialist at the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories. While at CNL, I acquired many new skills, including but not limited to, analysing building codes and standards; writing formal engineering documents relating to Fire Protection Engineering; assessing and solving the fire water needs for over one hundred and fifty buildings based on their size and use.
