Manage departmental budgets. Plan the AOA’s annual Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Development Conference and our DO Day and Advocacy Summit for physician, student and affiliate attendees. Help develop conference themes and content and oversee logistics related to marketing, sponsorship, speakers and on-site staffing. Document compliance with relevant AOA and Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education requirements and deadlines to offer continuing medical education credit to participants. Present on legislative issues and represent the AOA in meetings with members of Congress.
