    • Director of Information Technology
      • May 2022 - Present

Director of IT - Reports to CEO - 8 person team (ITSM, Data, Project Management) Launched and led the following change initiatives: - ERP Security redesign - Rebuild ERP security to be focused on role based access control by Job Title instead of piecemealed attribute based access control by task - Procure to Pay Process Mapping - Establish a new Procure to Pay process that utilizes the ERP solution instead of manually tracking procurements in spreadsheets - SKU Rationalization - Reduce the number of unique item numbers for very similar products. This drives efficiencies in production and effectiveness in sales. Also simplifies processes in Data and Accounting - Item Attribute Master Data Project - Expand the scope of attributes we define for all finished goods and manufacturing inputs. Previous system relied on the item description field as a "catch-all" for various attributes of items. New system builds well-defined fields in a database to track attributes of items - Infrastructure upgrade to support a 3 shift production model - Previous on-prem data center lacked the necessary performance capabilities to support a 3 shift model. Upgraded on-prem server hardware to use NVME storage drives for faster performance. Migrated to the latest version of VMware and Microsoft SQL Server. Upgraded Networking to be 10gb throughout the datacenter - Upgrade Cyber Security Stack - Security had not been a focus in previous IT budgets. Advocating for increased focus on security. Added EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response), NGAV (Nextgen Anti-virus), Anti-Spam / Anti-Phishing / Anti-Impersonation Email solutions, Encrypted Email, Email archiving, and Cloud-based data backups - Implemented a new RMM solution to allow IT to better support a remote work force - Built an IT Roadmap for the next 18 months planning for new technologies - Business Process Mapping - Led a project to document processes in the current ERP solution in preparation for migration to a new ERP
