I have never meet anyone so efficient and effective in their work, able to multitasks so easily! I was Nikos (co-)supervisor during his time at Cedefop. Nikolaos exceeded expectations taking on more and more work with increasing complexity, always with a positive attitude and delivering results efficiently, timely and with high quality. His year at Cedefop was marked by the unusual circumstances derived from the COVID-19 pandemic and the other supervisor departure from Cedefop during Nikos’ year. Despite these unusual circumstances, he was able to adapt to the changing requirements, remained positive and work effectively collaboratively as well as independently. He demonstrated an above-average capacity to cooperate with others for a common purpose, working in a multicultural, multi-disciplinary environment. His knowledge on guidance and his capacity to learn, was a great addition to the team. His highly developed digital skills and attention to detail allowed us to give him more and more responsibility that he handled masterfully. Always ready for new assignments and taking new challenges, Nikos proactivity and capacity to deliver provided the team with the possibility to increase our productivity and quality of our outputs. He was always able to present proposals for the team’s consideration and carry out the work to implement those proposals. He was instrumental in finalising and publishing online the first European inventory of guidance systems, he delivered several presentations and carried out diverse analytical work on validation and guidance, among many other tasks that he always carried out efficiently and with quality. I have little doubt that wherever Nikos works, he will be an excellent addition to any team and a pleasure to work with. You just need to be ready to work really hard to keep up with him!
