Led a team of up to 16 contractors and employees that performed Project Management, Strategic Planning, Systems Development, and Implementation Planning. Responsible for design, capacity management, and budgeting/forecasting for all 32 markets with metro transport.Major Contributions: • Negotiated with primary equipment vendor to increase Sprint’s discount by an average of over 10%. This resulted in an annual capital savings of over $3,000,000.• Led the development of a new ADM device that saved Sprint $2.6M over the first 18 months within the Seattle market. Future deployment in the next 31 markets will save on average of $1.9M per market over an 18 month period.• Assisted in the design of a custom designed network for one customer that was worth $56M in a combination of new revenue and retained revenue.• Initiated development of new planning/forecasting website that saves 30% labor/research time over a full year by linking 11 different databases that are used by planning into one system.• Initiated new transport designs that cut the cost of 10GE IP circuits by 11% over current design.• Key in the deployment of the first 40G wave, GigE, and 10GE over the metro and longhaul network.• Worked with finance to create accurate network costing models to be used for Sprint product pricing.• Managed the overall capital budget for MAN to within a 2% variance from 2006-present. Overall yearly budget has ranged from $7M-$76M.

Responsible for reviewing each business case before going to financial review, training all planners within the group, creating/maintaining pricing models, communication to sales teams, technical support to sales for all customer inquiries and meetings. Led all negotiations for leased backhaul from landing stations for Undersea Cable Systems inside the US in support of International Transport Team.Major Contributions:• Created forecast model that cut 80 hours of work per quarter and generated a more accurate forecast. • Worked with finance team to create hybrid pricing model to use for non-standard backhaul designs to support all Sprint Wireline Products.• Implemented the first Virtual Billing Package in Florida which accounted for an immediate savings of $25k per month and a total of over $5M in savings within a 5 year period. Implemented 4 more that accumulated over $20M in savings.• Planned, designed, and implemented the first Carrier Hotel on MAN which saved approximately $3.4M over a 3 year period. • Supported Sales on designs, pricing, customer presentations for International, Government, Wholesale, and Enterprise customers which assisted in over $500M in new revenue of IP, PL, International Carrier Backhaul, International Private Line, and custom networks.• Designed and implemented the first integration of a Nextel MSO onto the Sprint network.
