-Serve as Raider Company Advisor, responsible for all administration, counseling, mentorship, training and Officer Candidate School preparation in accordance with Marine Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC) and Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) orders and directives. -Advisor to the Commanding Officer for all Marine Corps related issues and requirements. -Serve as NROTC Operations officer, responsible for coordination all aspects of the NROTC to include liaison with outside agencies, conduct of the Naval Labs, and any movement of MIDN outside of local area.-Serve as NROTC Midshipman Battalion Staff advisor, responsible for the training and organization of all Midshipman battalion activities, mentorship and instruction of the battalion staff.-Process owner for overseeing the upkeep of all Student Performance Files, physical security, GMT, and armory.-Serve as FP/AT representative for NROTC to all outside agencies, to include local law enforcement and Naval Region Mid Atlantic.-Coordinate with the local Officer Selection Officer for potential candidates and training opportunities for Officer Candidates. -Primary liaison with Marine Corps Recruiting Command for all issues related to the attendance at Officer Candidate School, Side Load Scholarships, and Commissioning of NROTC Marine Option students.-Serve as the senior Marine Corps representative at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.-Mentor, train and prepare all Marine Option Midshipman for future service as a Marine officer, to include successful completion of Officer Candidate School.-Prepare and teach colligate level classes at the 3000 and 4000 level, to include preparing syllabus, course content, and evaluation criteria IAW NSTC and University guidelines.

-Planned and supervised all communication periods of instruction and practical applications for the ANGLICO Basic Course. -Took control of an entire Brigade Platoon's Controlled Cryptologic Items (CCI) and ensured that their gear was properly accounted for in GCCS-MC.-Planned the communications architecture for a time sensitive portion of an OPLAN and multiple complex exercises throughout the Pacific region, involving communications between 5th ANGLICO and III MEF, partner nation and joint units. -Served as the Headquarters Brigade Commander for a period of five months, supervising all administrative matters for the Headquarters Marines. -Spearheaded the planning and approval process to install the company's CENTRIX-K access inside the unit's vault. -Responsible for organizing the unit's Cyber Readiness which resulted in the unit receiving a noteworthy from the MEF G-6 Information Assurance Manager (IAM).

-Train and educate student officers in the high standards of professional knowledge, esprit de corps, and leadership required of a Marine Corps company grade officer. -Responsible to the Company Commander for daily company functions, training schedule implementation, and completion of administrative requirements.-Develop and deconflict the 25-week company schedule with TBS scheduling, other training companies, and supporting agencies. -Prepare the company staff for the administrative requirements of a student company. -Task, supervise, and mentor the company enlisted staff and training officer. -Supervise performance of student company billet holders and duty officers. -Oversee MOS assignment and follow-on orders preparation for all student officers, coordinating with ground and aviation representatives at HQMC/MMOA.-Conduct Student Performance Review Boards (SPRB) and XO Interviews, as required. -Coordinate and supervise the six Staff Platoon Commanders' collateral duties. -Execute all collateral duties for Aviation, Warfighting, and International Officers.

-Develop and advise the Regimental S-6 of possible courses of action utilizing single channel radio, multi-channel radio, data, tactical voice switching, and the EPLRS tactical data radio to best support the Regimental concept of operations and Commander's intent.-Advise the Regimental S-6 as to the distribution, implementation, and management of the communications platoon's personnel in support of Regimental operations. -Provide liaison assistance between senior, subordinate, and/or lateral communications units.-Oversee the tactical and technical training of all Marines in communications platoon. -Accomplish the platoon's garrison and tactical missions. -Supervise and mentor all Marines under the Platoon Commander's charge.
