  The TEDx Ambassadors are individuals from around the globe who foster their local TEDx community, help oversee the branding issues with the TEDx events in their region, and act as a leader for TED and TEDx community in that region. By helping TED monitor the use of the TEDx brand, and fostering a spirit of collaboration among organizers in the region, it allows us to further spread the reach of TEDx globally.   Halfway 2010, I started working on organizing a TEDx event in Delft. There was a simple reason to do this: There was (strangely enough) no TEDx in Delft yet and we thought there should be. In 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015 we did large main events, all of which were visited by approximately 1000 people live and even more via the livestream. In April 2016, we will celebrate our fifth main event. The TEDxDelft talk with the most impact is definitely the one from Boyan Slat on how the ocean can clean themselves. I'm founder, curator and licensee (license holder) of all TEDxDelft events except TEDxDelftWomen.
