Project work:• I participated in the redesign of the How People Learn course site on Canvas to improve the user experience. I collaborated with learning designers and technologists to identify areas for improvement, ideate, test, and evaluate possible design iterations of the HPL Canvas site. • I conducted a formative evaluation of the Discover Science with Me program at the St. Louis Science Center. I worked with the stakeholders to identify the goals and essential questions of the evaluation. I designed a variety of evaluation instruments to assess the goals, including exit surveys and interviews. After collecting and analyzing the data, I presented the findings in both a presentation and written report. • I created a pilot episode of a podcast for undocumented teens with the goal of creating a sense of belonging and community and offering mental health strategies. I produced the pilot episode from beginning to end, including scripting, casting, recording, piloting, and editing. • I designed a wireframe using Proto.io for a mobile app that supports adult ELLs overcome a fear of speaking English.• Created a blog that highlights the varied experiences of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans living in the U.S. Show less
