I was fortunate to meet Janell through the Propeller Club Board, when I was a governor and Janell was first Vice President and then President of the Club. Janell is an excellent leader, she is not afraid to tackle tough problems, or to ask hard questions. She is guided by her own integrity and is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I know. During her Presidency, Janell took over the leadership of the Clubs largest event, the renowned Crab Feast. I have been participating in this event for over 20 years, and I can honestly say that the year Janell was in charge the community saw positive changes! Janell’s attention to detail and organization skills improved the flow and efficiency of traffic, and removed a 2 hour traffic jam that existed in years past. It was so impressive to see Janell’s simple tweaks to years’ old processes make such a vast difference to the entire event! Janell also guided the club through its first audit in years. She wanted to ensure the clarity of financials to the membership. Janell will always work to ensure integrity and transparency at all levels of an organization. I would endorse Janell for any position paid or volunteer.
