I enjoyed working with Gary. He did his job well, was very competent and helpful.

Gary worked for me managing all aspects of a test lab for electronic storage devices. Gary worked with me transitioning from two major release cycles a year to nine per quarter making it a 24x7 operation. Gary was instrumental putting the correct team together, training as well as establishing the proper quality controls. I have no problem endorsing Gary for any position for testing or Q&A management.

I have been tasked with setting up the Quality Assurance department from the ground up. I bring with me over 20 years of combined Quality Control and Quality assurance along with all the various types of testing there are out there. I love what I do and feel it shows in the quality of my work. I test enterprise level container management software for people running Windows Server platforms. I am setting up an automation framework so I can perform a daily smoke test on each new build then move on to manual testing of new features. This smoke test will ensure that all fixes made in previous versions of code are still fixed and that no new issues/defects were introduced. I will also be integrating our defect tracking suite with the smoke test(s) so issues/defects are written as soon as they are uncovered and will directly link back to an individual test run. We primarily work with clients running enterprise level software and more specifically Microsoft SQL Server saving our customers thousands of dollars on licensing fees alone. One of our customers reported a cost savings of over 180 man hours per year by utilizing our software.

All aspects of Microsoft Office are utilized daily. Working directly with the CTO, Product and Project Managers and Web Developers, IOs Developers, Managers, Marketing teams, Back-Office teams, Multi-regional developers across the country and developers in other countries around the world. I have mentored several testers and brought them up to speed in order to facilitate the testing of all applications.

NGT was an excellent company up until the past year or so after they hired Freddy. Supposedly to make QA easier on us. Yeah. What a load of crap. Please go to www.ngt.com to find out more. NGT is the leading authority on internet base voice and data calls for small to medium businesses. I really enjoyed working there till they hired someone to take half my duties for almost twice the pay. And then to make him senior to me? I was told he would make my QAing the software easier when all he did was cause strife and contention. To be passed over 3 times due to how people perceive me is ludicrous and I should ony be judged on my work ethic and abilities. I bent over backward for this sompany and got next to nothing in return. Making it happen awards to most everyone else in our group and some even got 2, but none for me and I did half the work. And their program/project managers do not know theri asses from holes in the ground. If you want to work for a company that will not treat you equally, nor will it pay for performance go right ahead and apply. I am sure they have openings.

I really loved what I did with nCUBE. They really opened many doors for me with regards to Quality assurance and the Cable Television market in general. Like I said, I loved what I did, but in the end detested the lack of process, lack of supervision, lack of consequences when others would flagrantly go against the rules, and in general really hated the owner (Mike Pohl) of the company after he called me a liar in front of the entire company by telling me I most certainly was not told we owned the Beaverton building when we were moved there from Louisville when 10 or more other people heard the sam thing. That did not fly and I told him to his face that he was an ass for doing that in front of 300 co workers. What an ass.

Responsible for the testing of multiple suites of software along with hardware. Helped release the very first ReWritable CD drive to ever hit the world. Designed every testcase the lab used with no specifications whatsoever. I designed them off the beta software itself. Many of these are still in use there. At one time, I was directly responsible for keeping 75 testers busy on a daily basis during 8 individual projects. Responsible for the testing of multiple suites of software along with hardware.
