Responsibilities: ▪ Safe Handling of Insulated Glass Units. Safe lifting and transporting glass on trolleys. ▪ Manual Handling of Glass following all safety measures wearing PPE according to area matrix. ▪ Setting and operating of LISEC IGU sealing robot. 1. Prepare for the task. 2. Start the Machine. 3. Fit Sealant Nozzle. 4. Purge Head. 5. Start Machine in Auto. 6. Remove Completed Units. 7. Sealing Shaped units. 8. Base Purge Head for shutdown. 9. Clean Nozzle and tracks. ▪ Preparing the ARMATEC Vacuum lifter, performing pre-op checks before starting and attaching and transporting of glass sheets and releasing them. ▪ Perform Quality Checks and IGU offload scanning of rejected and recut glass. ▪ Operating LISEC Software programs Li-Ident and Li-Pack to know the progress of the current batch and displays items loaded and updating of trolleys for each batch. ▪ Changing of silicon and hardener drums when its empty and entering the logbooks whenever changed. ▪ Setting of Spacer bending machine according to the size and material of the spacer. ▪ Bending of Aluminium and warm edge spacers of different thickness and setting up according to the batch on the spacer tree. ▪ Manual filling of the spacer according to size bent. ▪ Working on Custom Laminating Line: 1. Using safe handling measures and PPE, pairing of glass and processing it to custom lamination. 2. Using LISEC software, finding and understanding of pairings and different laminates which applies in between the pair of glass. 3. Understanding product drawings and the makeup whether it is PVB or SGP and pairing of glass accordingly. 4. Pairing of glass according to the laminate size. Scanning of barcodes and and making glass ready for processing. 5. Quality Checks of Glass before pairing and sending for lamination. 6. Loading of glass and setting it up for heat-soak and also unloading it from heat-soak after the completion. Making Process improvements and working towards reducing waste.
