The Organisation assists other agencies including the Rural Fire Service at bushfires outside FRNSW districts; the State Emergency Service with floods and storm damage, and the Ambulance Service of NSW with emergency medical responses. FRNSW also partners with the NSW Police Force in preparing for the consequences of terrorist attacks, particularly where there are fires, explosions, building collapse, and chemical, biological and radiological hazards.       The Samuel Morris Foundation is Australia's first and only charity supporting children disabled by non-fatal drowning or other hypoxic brain injuries and targeting drowning prevention. Co-author of a paper on the standards development, published in the Annals of Diseases in Childhood. After the launch of the Standard Set, I transitioned to being a member of the Standard Set Steering Committee. The Steering Committee aims to ensure that the Standard Set evolves with changing evidence, as well as making sure that the Standard Set incorporates the lessons learned from implementation and benchmarking experiences. ICHOM’s mission is to unlock the potential of value-based health care by defining global Standard Sets of outcome measures that really matter to patients for the most relevant medical conditions and by driving adoption and reporting of these measures worldwide.
