Medical Mission Trip Volunteer
-
May 2018 - Aug 2018
The medical mission to Guatemala was a trip organized by healthcare professionals to provide medical care, education, and support to undeserved communities in Guatemala. The mission involved a team of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who traveled to remote areas of the country to provide care to patients who do not have access to healthcare. During the mission, our team provided a range of medical services, such as general check-ups, dental care, vision care and pediatrician services. We also provided education on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention to help improve the health and well-being of the local community. In addition to providing medical care, the medical mission to Guatemala also involved cultural exchange and community building. Our team had the opportunity to interact with local residents, learn about their culture, and participate in community events and activities. Show less
