Sunseeker Middle East is the exclusive distributor for the entire range of yachts made by Sunseeker International in 11 countries of the Middle East. Their range is as diverse as a ‘small’ 40 feet Portofino to the ‘mega’ 161 feet yacht recently launched. I have been a part of the team that has turned around the profitability and reputation of the brand in this region. - Contributed to sales direct and indirectly (as a team) at a growth rate of 7-8% annually and managing client yacht ownerships worth upwards of GBP 250 million. - Forming Companies for yacht ownership and Foreign-flagging including Crew Management. - Design Sales and Marketing plans (offline and online) for local and territory markets. - Streamline Warranty costs and operations by developing Service Level Agreements with vendors and OEMs. - Deal and negotiate single-handedly with ultra-HNI clientele and their representatives and government buyers. - Set-up a Pre-owned Yacht Sales and Trade-in Program sub-business. - Manage a team including their work schedules, roles, reporting structure and problem-solving. - Generate commercial yacht ownership proposals for owners interested in owning and chartering out their yachts to earn revenue. - Represent the territory in international boat shows including Cannes, Dusseldorf and Southampton. - Complete Management of client ownership experiences in Mediterranean including regional crewing, berthing, transporting of yachts belonging to Middle East. ALSO: - Liaising with Dutch shipyards like Heesen, Amels and Icon for potential leads for our existing client looking at larger yachts. - Have had central role in onboarding a new Middle East Distributorship within our group of companies for Aquila Power Catamarans.
