Steve Wright and I have worked together for over 20 years. I’ve seen him develop from a young man to a husband, father, and key member of a development team that created a software hardware system responsible for thirty-five percent of commercial printing in the US. The technology behind commercial printing is daunting, and at Rampage our product depended on our software as well as on custom software of companies with which we partnered, software as complex as our own. Steve developed automated test suites that tested every aspect of our system, putting it through its paces on jobs that exercised features that were most difficult and most common. It was also Steve's responsibility to manage out database of bugs, write installation code, manage our beta program, and put together shippable builds. The buck stopped at his desk, and his attention to detail and quality is obsessive. Steve works hard and smart and is comfortable learning new skills. He is success oriented—driven might be more accurate, and he has well developed social and verbal abilities. If he's on your team you can be assured he will have your back, and you’ll be lucky to have him. I couldn’t recommend anyone more strongly. Matthew Proujansky Vice President of Engineering Rampage Systems Inc.

I had the pleasure of working with Steve in his capacity as Quality Assurance and Release Manager at Rampage Systems. Steve had a commitment to raising the bar with every release of software. The pride he showed while building great products over the years was remarkable. He would manage new features and bug fixes for each release. This involved software QA, managing the builds, and writing complex installation programs for all of the Rampage products. Steve wore many hats like most of us at Rampage. Steve realized many years ago that testing had to be automated. It was taking too much time and he needed to utilize all hours of the day to test. Steve developed and maintained the automated test suites for all Rampage products. This productivity increase allowed us to not only accelerate the whole testing process, but allowed us to make small and sometimes large changes to the software near release time. This luxury proved invaluable over the years. We had our occasional bugs which clearly hurt Steve’s pride as much as he did not want to show it. He would say, it's time to plug some more holes in the dike of his software test automation. My takeaway was pride makes great software and Steve led the way at Rampage.
