I know Norine through the FameLab Competition. She was one of the judges for FameLab Switzerland 2020 and later on she became a friend and a mentor for me for FameLab International 2020. She has been very kind, supportive and professional in her guidance. Her ideas in shaping and structuring science talks helped me a lot in preparing for and winning the FameLab International Finals. What I especially liked about her way of guiding, was that she focussed on maintaining a very nice balance between scientific accuracy and the art of storytelling, and this I believe makes her a specialist in public outreach, science communication and story telling.

I studied 23 families with unsolved syndromic forms of intellectual disability and/or developmental delay using whole exome sequencing to unravel the genetic causes of these phenotypes. I managed worldwide collaborations and published our results in peer-reviewed journals. I also presented my work to my peers and the general public in several international conferences.

In one of the best parisian research institute in rare disorders, I identified and studied mutations involved in several craniofacial dysostoses (auriculochondylar syndrome, Pierre Robin sequence...) in Jeanne Amiel's lab, part of Stanislas Lyonnet's team. I discovered the close collaboration between researchers and clinicians while working with both stakeholders in a priviledge environment.
