We have Floodgates in aging condition with old paints that may contain heavy metals and asbestos. The target of this internship is to work on a global study of the repair and maintenance (paint and corrosion stripping than re-painting) of the Dam Floodgates eliminating human risks(Falling Down, Inhaling Asbestos & Lead). We are Developing an innovative robot as an alternative solutions for Stripping (Coating Removal) and Repainting while respecting current environmental and safety standards to handle asbestos safely. And to work on a global study to check the coat of Floodgates for corrosion and detect its location by a robot to eliminate the personnel risks related to work. After stripping the rust, we need a network system of Sensors for Corrosion/Erosion Monitoring that provides a measurement of it, to protect our Floodgates whenever the corrosion starts. Show less

At the company GOUVERNON, Sandblasting is used to edit the surface of a small cylindrical lipstick cover after adding a stencil with a specific pattern, adding an aesthetic element to the lipstick. The stencil is then peeled off from object, whose will be cleaned. The main objective of our intrenship is to increase the production output at the Gouvernon company to reach 1000 piece per hour, instead of a far smaller amount of production rate. We are working on achieving this result by changing the stencil used in the traditional technique. Show less
