Bio
Ari Afek, M.S.
Mike Reeves served as the Research Participation Coordinator during my tenure at IST. Mike was able to make an immediate impact in this role by providing outstanding service to both myself and my colleagues. While his role required constant monitoring and enforcing of strict guidelines, Mike preformed his job in a manner that was more informative than policing. I look forward to working with Mike again in a different capacity.

Conducting research over the last five years has allowed me to interact with a number of research Participation Coordinators at UCF. Throughout this time, there has been one coordinator, Mike Reeves, which has been extremely resourceful, timely (within 12 hours) with inquires, knowledgeable of his position, and simply a pleasure to coordinate with in terms of establishing research programs. I believe that it is Mike’s personality and dedication to hard work that has made him such a success at this position. His kind nature and his ability to tackle any problem has made him a please to work with these last four years. To my knowledge this has been the general consensus among a distinct group of researchers in the department. I understand that this position is extremely taxing and stressful requiring this gentleman to interact with over 83 researchers setting up anywhere from 1~4 research experiments per researcher. Thus, his ability to attend to all researchers’ needs in a timely manner and consistently be positive in his interactions with each researcher shows his professionalism and his ability to work in stressful situations. Based on this assessment, I highly endorse Mike in this position and any position with similar task requirements for his ability to successfully achieve his responsibilities and work well with clients. I would be more than happy to further discuss Mike's abilities in person or via email regarding this position. Thanks - Miliani
