Wecudos is a small Healthcare Startup. As a team of two developers we rework a large codebase, greatly increasing performance, reducing application size and improving code quality. After cleaning up the codebase we started working on new features with my focus on analytics, calculating trends in data using ruby on rails and rendering them in Highcharts. I'm currently working on a prototype for a rebuild of the site in NextJS with TypeScript and TailwindCSS. Wecudos is a small Healthcare Startup. I worked for Lloyds Banking Group for the two and a half years on multiple projects primarily as a React Developer. I developed the front end of our most recent project, a 3 page messenger style web app, deciding on approach, app structure and design. Once the MVP was complete we moved onto industrialisation which involved more DevOps and pipeline / CI work. More recently I've set up linux machines by writing Chef recipes, Jenkins groovy and shell scripts. In my first month I built a laptop review site for mobile with Webpack and ReactJS. I then moved to the reviews experience team to work on a project to rebuild the Rails site using Webpack, Baobab, ReactJS, Babel, HTML5 and Sass with pair-programming on larger tickets and peer reviews on all pull requests. All React components were built with unit tests using Mocha and Enzyme. In my first month I built a laptop review site for mobile with Webpack and ReactJS. I worked for Sky within a large team working on the recently released Sky Q product. This was a Javascript role using our own simple MVC framework, Node and Grunt for task management to build the software for the new set top boxes. Our team worked using agile scrum methodology. I worked on a major rebuild of the Which? homepage (www.which.co.uk) and other projects, creating responsive sites to work for mobile, tablet and desktop. We used SASS and Git; we built shell scripts for repetitive tasks and used bower for an organised and maintainable front end. CSS3, JQuery and JavaScript were used for functionality and animation. Later I built a Capybara diff automation tool to compare containers in Google Tag Manager. In the last couple of months I've built an editorial tools repository from scratch with custom gulp tasks, widget capability with post message, bower configuration with shared JS and CSS components. I've built three tools as JS applications (also with D3 and SVG) leveraging Which APIs.

A short contract to work on a web app for JustFDI. This project required extensive use of object-oriented JavaScript and jQuery as well as LESS and HTML5. A lot of time was devoted to problem solving, planning for efficiency, usability and anticipating desired functionality. A short contract to work on a web app for JustFDI.
