I had the pleasure to work with Evelyn on Expatica's annual "i am not a tourist" Expat Fair, a one-day event attracting 4,000 visitors and 100 exhibitors. Evelyn proved to be a dedicated, responsible, hardworking, detail-oriented team player. Even though she had not done event management before, she quickly learned the ropes and dealt with sub-projects independently. She took ownership of the task of having temps hand out flyers both before and during the event, making this new marketing action a success. When needed, she asked for input; otherwise, she solved issues herself. Evelyn has a hands on attitude and gets the job done. During the event itself, she managed the volunteers working in the entrance area.
