Key Responsibilities:  Align technical package with potential suppliers: bill of materials, drawings, Testing specifications and norms for new program launches and engineering change requests (ECRs) during pre-sourcing and Technical Supplier Discussion  Contribute to Technical Supplier discussions and Sourcing meetings as Q-representative by defining Bosch Quality expectations to the supplier(s)  Co-ordinate with the SE team internally to plan APQP activities based on components business case and risk classification for the sourced supplier(s)  Lead APQP with the supplier(s) to align MSA plan, Control Plan, Capability study during Process design, Development and Validation phase  Streamline PPAP activities by communicating with suppliers the PPAP requirements and review the submission focusing on PFMEA, Control Plan and Statistical package  Support the team with Process Release and Safe Launch activities like Early Production containment and Run@Rate before Launch production  Support the team with resolving Quality concerns from suppliers or Bosch Plant by analytical and statistical problem-solving methods Key Achievements:  Advocated effective analytical and statistical problem solving using 8D, RCA, SPC and deployed LEAN activities by realizing non-value-added tasks in the processes  Hands-on experience of leading APQP from RFQ and Technical supplier discussion to Part Release as per AIAG and Bosch process for NPD and ECR's for purchased parts  Hands-on experience of PPAP activities for different manufacturing processes: Plastic Injection molding, Aluminum Casting, Stamping, Machining.  Raised supplier base competency by strengthening suppliers' understanding of Bosch Q-expectations and AIAG standard by contributing to supplier development projects  Planned, tracked and added Value to the team through internal LEAN projects to improve the quality of our work by reducing redundant tasks and strengthening cross-team collaboration

Quality Intern

Key Responsibilities:  Conduct measurements of manufactured parts and assess production behavior by plotting them on run charts to study the capability of the process.  Support the team in planning the project with respect to producing parts in manufacturing unit, surface coating through an external supplier, tests and trials. Key Achievements:  Basic understanding of a problem solving procedure and root cause analysis of an issue during assembly tests and trials conducted  Project recognized with a certificate of merit by the organization for prototype built and report submitted to the university.
