As a Certified Industrial Ergonomic Evaluator, I work with industry to proactively prevent injuries, and look for root causes. I also get to use my expertise as a PT to design prevention programs and conservative care before formal medical intervention is needed. It is nice to be helping people stay injury free.

Wow am I blessed! I am working with a great organization that shares my core values and is committed to making a positive change to the lives of the patients we get the privilege to work with. The team of people I work with every day is excellent and fun! I know as we do the right thing, we will continue to grow and help people with excellence and value.

YourHomeExerciseProgram.com was developed out of a vision that there had to be a better way to support people in their own healing with modern web based tools. So instead of a PT handing you a hand drawn or photocopied exercise that did an OK job of helping you carry over your learning into to your life, they could have you connect to your personal program on the web with video, audio, written, and picture instruction. Research has shown that this type of learning reinforcement creates a much better chance that the client will both do the program and do it more accurately then a purely paper based system. I also wanted this to be very affordable and easy to use for the practitioner. Show less

I enjoy working and connecting with people who know that life calls on all of us to lead. Effective principle based leadership makes all the difference in moving individually and corporately toward a worthy purpose. Like any skill, the principles of leadership and growth can be learned and honed. My role is to help you identify that purpose and the principles you can apply to achieve that vision and give you a tool set to work with. As a physical therapist you find the areas of function that need care and work with the client to optimize the needed movement. In this role we look at the same idea, we just apply it to the heart and mind which leads to business success and ultimately life success. Show less

Helping the clinics prosper by helping the patients get great care and letting the world know! I am active in helping to grow the clinics through building relationships and giving service to other healthcare providers, community groups like seniors and sport clubs, local related business, and of course all the clients we have served. NSPT has a long tradition of serving Cedarburg, Theinsville, and Milwaukee's north shore area. My work in helping develop leadership within the company and in the community is very rewarding. Building relationships with healthcare providers focused in the rehabilitation arena. Like all my work it involved evaluating the need and finding a solution that brought value to the client. What I loved best was being a resource that could provide the information and the tools to enhance the outcomes of the project. As a business owner I did it all, like most small business owners. Over time I learned what could and should be delegated and where I needed to stay closely connected. I worked with many wonderful clients and had great teammates. My philosophy is to team up with motivated individuals with high integrity and that shared a vision of excellence. Teaching and learning are life passions. Just like a great cook should love to eat good food, a good teacher needs a love of learning. I was privileged to instruct with one of the most talented people I know, Greg Johnson. In addition the other staff was a cast of all stars in the world of PT. The "students" were always motivated professionals who came to get better at serving people. What a great gig! Teaching and learning are life passions. Competitive Edge was orthopedic and sports medicine rehabilitation company. We grew from a single facility to a multi-location group with over 100 employees. I had various roles over this time including clinic manager, vice president of the board, and clinical specialist/mentor for the therapy staff. We were privileged to work with professional athletes that were all stars, gold medal Olympic athletes, and my dad when he tore his rotator cuff. We fostered a great working environment with great care and a lot of fun for the clients and employees. We sold this practice and I moved onto other opportunities. I must admit I miss this team, but we all have moved on. Show less

My first PT job and it was great. My first mentor in PT was Dan Strelnick, the Chief PT at the VA. He had a big heart, a passion for excellence, and total belief and commitment for his staff. He inspired you to be your best. I worked with the vets that served our country, an honor. I worked in neuro rehab, post surgical care, and spinal cord injury. I was surrounded by excellent professionals that helped me grow into a person that would learn, grow, and serve those in need. Thank you Dan, Ron, Dennis, and my fellow VA SPA teammates. Show less
