I worked with Jordan on my memoir and self-help book Forgiveness and Violets. Jordan is an excellent editor and he gives detailed advice about a project: What steps need to be completed, how long it takes, what to do and what to avoid (e.g. repetitions, story inconsistencies). He supported me with the publishing of the book on Amazon. He explained the metadata, ranking, visibility and other. Jordan has many skills regarding editing, writing, story-telling, ..but his soft skills make him really special. Professional communication, reliability, understanding of challenging topics, empathy and great team work!

As VIP Client Coordinator for The Book Publishing Academy, I am responsible for guiding our clients through the self-publishing process, from book cover creation through to Amazon upload, and also assisting them with book marketing campaigns. In this capacity, I have assisted with, proofread, and edited over fifty different titles, all of which are currently available on Amazon. I have an in-depth understanding of Amazon, how to use keywords and HTML, and how to navigate the complex paperback upload process. My experience working with clients to improve the quality of their written work has been invaluable, and the reviews The Book Publishing Academy has received on platforms such as Trustpilot are testament to this.

As a key member of the publishing team at How2Become Ltd, I played a major role in developing the company to becoming one of the UK’s leading careers and education advisors, leading to How2Become receiving multiple national publishing awards. I wrote and published over one hundred books throughout a five-year period, with my research skills, proofreading and product knowledge proving essential throughout the publishing process. I also wrote regular blogs, which attracted significant traffic on the company website. Alongside my writing responsibilities, I had a range of other tasks, including: assisting customers with CVs and Cover Letters, utilising live chat to provide customer service, designing and creating full jackets (spine and back cover) for books, and conducting research into job-application processes.
