      As one of the busiest exclusive venues in the South East, I coordinate around 70 weddings per year. My promotion to this role came in recognition of my outstanding communication skills, leadership and organisational ability.- Assisting booked couples (up to 4 years in advance) with their plans, recommending suppliers and welcoming them back to the venue for tours, whether that be to refresh their memory, with suppliers or family. - Organising Food Tasting sessions for our couples, being there on the day to help answer any questions regarding their F&B or general wedding questions. - Booking couples in for a Final Details Meeting, creating a bespoke online wedding form for the couple including questions about all the details needed, to fill out prior to our meeting to save time for both parties, and also a bespoke online table plan form. - Creating a detailed schedule of the day, function details and organise staffing. - Collecting PLI's from suppliers.- Coordinating the day, delegating tasks, managing staff and greeting and directing guests. - Communicating with the Accommodation's Team and Housekeeping to ensure bedrooms are ready and linen is fresh for any table cloth/napkin replacements that may be needed.- Setting up on the morning of the wedding, preparing the ceremony area, ensuring the seating plan and place names are perfectly aligned with the kitchen details. - Being logistically focused, ensuring photographer does not over run and affect food service time, making sure the couple are announced in and seated ready to be served.- Organise speeches and delegate the task of serving toasting drinks. - Hand over to the Evening Duty Manager, create a seamless transition into the evening. ...and everything else that happens and needs to be done on a wonderful wedding day!
