I managed the international growth plan of the Saft's division in charge of designing, manufacturing and marketing battery systems for electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles. I signed major development and supply agreements with various European car makers including the first Lithium-ion battery systems ever installed into mass produced automobiles. Those successes contributed to the creation of a joint-venture between Saft and Johnson Controls, the world leader in automotive batteries, for which I played an instrumental role in the creation of a global Sales & Marketing organization from three different companies (Johnson Controls USA, Varta Germany, Saft France).
