  I began to volunteer at the Asher Library at the Spertus Institute for Jewish Studies to gain hands-on experience within a library environment, while completing my education. While at the Asher Library I have completed my own project of cataloging the entire English-language bound periodicals collection. This project also gave me extensive experience using WorldCat as well as the Aleph cataloging system.I have also gained experience with material in-processing, conservation of rare and fragile materials, and serials check-in.
