Representing the University of South Carolina myself and three other students competed in the NUS International Case Competition. We focused on developing a pivot of business for Singapore Power, a non-contested supplier of energy for the Republic of Singapore. As the landscape of Singapore's energy market liberalized you saw the rise of multiple suppliers competing for an already established consumer base of contestable customers. We proposed a white-labeled app for new entries into the market. We chose to take advantage of our previous knowledge in the industry to bridge the technological gap that may be present in these newer companies. This served as a meaningful way to improve revenue streams by incorporating competition into a new segment of the business.
