Ernie is the best computer programmer/information manager that I have worked with during by 32 years with the State of Wisconsin/University of Wisconsin. He had the ability to listen to the needs of leadership and administraive staff and turn out computer products that always meet or exceeded our needs. He paid particular attention to end user interfaces and made every effort to reduce the amount of work needed to be entered at that level. He increased the efficiency and effectiveness of Waisman Center administrative staff to the point where we doubled in size (staff and budget) but were able to operate with 2 less administrative staff.

In support of a National Science Foundation grant, Ernie prototyped systems and expanded the capabilities of existing web products at Western Washington University. Erinie demonstrated an exceptional ability to respond to changing conditions and routinely stepped forward to assist with tasks not entirely within his project scope. I hope to be able to work with Ernie again someday.
