I’m creating a series of Pandas tutorials, designing, demonstrating, helping students with a final project in which they are to create a function that derives flow accumulation and water body depth rasters from elevation and precipitation rasters, and creating and editing homework assignments. I consolidated projections from Two Sigma's businesses to create a comprehensive report of its noncompensation expenses and their drivers. I then wrote a Python program to clean a dataset of AUMs and returns time series of over 20,000 liquidated hedge funds, identify their drawdowns, and analyze how their AUMs, volatilities, Sharpe ratios, and strategies affected the time spans from their largest drawdowns to their liquidations. I interned at Grueber Lab (grueberlab.neuroscience.columbia.edu) through BRAINYAC (zuckermaninstitute.columbia.edu/brainyac). During the internship, I generated genetic reagents to optogenetically manipulate neural activity in the larvae of fruit flies, which I visualized using expansion microscopy.
